YES! The Shared Dish exclusively uses this fund to purchase food and crockpots for families in need in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

We will work with your group to discuss what works best for you.

Many groups make an initial donation, and we use that money to purchase the ingredients. We then deliver the food products and bags to your “packing party”. We will also collect the meals, store them, and deliver them.

Other groups simply approach us requesting to help. We will supply the ingredients and bags to your group gathering and accept donations as individuals choose to contribute. Each event helps us to grow and increases awareness. Donations are not our only focus, though they are appreciated!

ABSOLUTELY! We are constantly growing and welcome more volunteers! At this time, deliveries are made in north Dallas on Tuesdays and south Dallas on Wednesdays

Currently, we are spending $10-15 on each meal. This includes non-perishables, produce, and meat. We are constantly trying to find ways to obtain all ingredients at the lowest cost possible while maintaining our quality.

We always need groups to pack meals! Companies, sports teams, social groups, and church communities have been actively involved. We’d love to work with any group! You can also help deliver meals. We are also very interested in partnering with more churches in our area!

Our hope is that other churches will join us in our efforts to feed families in need in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. We are discussing forming hubs based in participating churches throughout the area. Each hub will supply meals to different communities. Join in on the ground floor! Become a base for providing meals!
